TCE-MT-2000S is a standard keypad smart meter for ordinary prepayment residential consumers. With two-way communication based on open standards, the TCE-MT-2000S meter collects vital energy information, and transmits to utility systems after processing. And it accepts commands from utility systems for load management and remote configuration.
When charging, credit data will be transferred from a point of sale (POS) or vending system is made into a numeric token in a 20 digit number using the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) encryption techniques. The token is input into the meter via the keypad, and an optical port as an alternative.
The TCE-MT- 2000S meter complies with normal STS standards and IEC standards.
